14th - Unfortunatley, due to illness within the band, not Covid related, we have had to cancel the gig at The Golden Fleece this Saturday on the 18th December. Our apologies if you were planning to attend.
3rd - Well here we are in the month of December with 2021 dissappearing fast. The good news is that we have one last hurrah to end the year at The Golden Fleece in Bath. It should be a fun evening!
October 2021
25th - We have some good news and also a light at the end of the tunnel. To get us back out playing and also to keep his hand in, Ant Meade has graciously offered his vocal services back to the band, while we try and find a more permanent solution to the missing vocalist. Ant has been in Hush twice before, so is a known factor in the bands make up. On the 21st October, we had a really productive rehearsal with him. So bring on the noise!!!!!!
19th - Well there's another month gone, where is this year going? On the vocalist front, we are activly looking to find one, but at this time no-one has what we are looking for. The hunt continues...
September 2021
23rd - The band has had some bad news. Due to matters that are entirely out of his hands, Martin Lineham has decided sadly to relinquish his tenure on the vocalist position with Hush. His decision has not need made willingly and it will be sad to see him go. All the band wish him well now and in the future.
10th - Due to circumstances beyond our control the gig on the 11th at The Rivereside in Midsomer Norton has had to be cancelled. We are all disappointed, as we had been working hard to be ready for this gig. Our apologies to anyone who was planning to attend.
August 2021
29th - Another gig has now been added to the 2021 diary. On the 18th December we will be at the the Golden Fleece in Bath. This will be a new venue for the band and as its close to Christmas, if Santa isnt busy he may pitch up.
16th - Just been confirmed that the gig at the Riverside on the 11th September is on. This will be our first gig since 2020. Be nice to play in front of an audience again. Its gonna be fun!
15th - Not a lot to report on at present. Rehearsals are progressing nicely. However, we are still not up to full personel at present as Martin has had to work away. We and he are hopeing that situation will be resolved in the next few weeks so we can really get down to work.
June 2021
7th - At long last we have made some noise. On the 3rd of June Chris, Clive, Jon and Paul made it to the the studio for the first time since 2020. Unfortunatly, Martin couldn't make it due to circumstances beyond his control. As was to be expected, it was all a bit rusty, but it was good fun. Roll on when there are five of us.
May 2021
21st - Not much going on, but here seems to be a brighter light at the end of the Covid tunnel. All the band have been jabbed and in some cases have had two. Greedy. This means that we can now get back to the studio and dust the rust off. We have been in contact with our regular haunts and they are now looking to have live music as soon as they are able, so we are really looking forward to that. Bring it on!!!
April 2021
4th - Hello to everyone in Hushland. As can be seen from the last update, nothing has really changed for the band. With the vaccination rollout progressing we are awaiting for the last two members of the band to be jabbed and then we can look to returning to the studio and blow the cobwebs out, and trust me there are a few. One bit of good news is that venues are now looking at booking live music for later this year and we can announce that we have been booked to play The Riverside in Midsomer Norton on the 11th September. Its early days yet, things may changed, but we all have our fingers crossed!
January 2021
3rd - First off from all of the band we hope you all had a decent Christmas with all the restrictions and we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year with the hope it will be more fruitful than 2020!
As can be seen, December was a no-no all round for the band. Due to the constant tier changing, we had no chance to catch up and practice. Hopefully, if it all starts settling down we may the chance within the next month to get back into the studio and make some noise.
As you can imagine, venues are in a real dilema of what they can and cant do. From a few that have been spoken to, post Easter may be a possibility. Heres hoping!!
If any venues want to start talking to us now we are more than happy to discuss our intentions for 2021.
