The Blog has been quiet yet again, hopefully that will soon all change.

With Rich’s imminent departure, over the last month and a bit we have been actively seeking a guitarist as his
replacement and having been inundated with applications we set up auditions. These proved to be lots of fun for
all concerned and gave us a real task of who do we choose.

After a lot of e-mails, text’s and phone calls we had a short list and then made a decision on a new member
for Hush. We would like to welcome Taka Inufusa to the fold and we will try and get him to introduce himself
via the site shortly.

Rehearsals are progressing and it is hoped that he will be on stage with Hush soon, but until everyone is
happy Rich has agreed to do any “final” gigs as required.

And so another chapter of Hush closes with Rich's last gig with the band at the Swiss Chalet in Swindon.
It's always a good night with a nice size audience (except, perversly, when it snows!) and this time was no
exception. Thanks to Rich for the last four years of neck wringing and good luck with your next venture. :-)

The next chapter will open in six days time with Taka's first gig with Hush at the County Ground Hotel in Swindon.
The first few gigs with a new member are always exciting because you never know quite what to expect so it will be
a fun and interesting evening for all concerned. Onwards and upwards!
