June 2009

Hello The Interweb Reading Ladies and Jellyphants

I have been nominated by the band to kick off the HUSH blog! The idea is that every month one of us shall keep
you all updated with news, facts, anecdotes and diatribes designed to titillate every faculty!

I would like to thank the crowd at the Fox and Hounds @ Wroughton on 20th June 2009. They stuck with us
through electrical problems and added to it being a fantastic and charged night! I heard the Brian (the Ferret) had
a great night visiting his home town as he enjoyed the fun of the Fox and Hounds bear garden and the clientèle
that assemble there!

A big shout out goes to the ‘Swindon Massive’ that not only come to every gig they possibly can, also drive our
vocalist around from time to time! I don’t think I have been given an opportunity to do this so far so here I go… Thank
you for your support and loyalty for the last past year or so, you guys are great.

We are all busy gazing into the future preparing ourselves for 3 weekends running of gigs. The Trout has always
been a good (albeit small) venue to play with more than its fair share of local characters including Mitch’s no .1
fan! Biker shows have always proven to be a challenge. I go into them with the attitude that no one is too cool for
school and we can get everyone having a crazy time dancing, shouting and generally making drunken fools out of
themselves! If we play with the enthusiasms we have had from the last two shows then everyone’s in for a real treat.

Practices are going well with a whole load of new songs that should start leaking into the set lists in the next few
months. Hopefully the first one of the new batch of songs will be in the set for The Trout dependent on how it all
goes from practices.

See y’all out there in the first row!
